Mery Beckstrom

Mery began her dance training in the Dominican Republic learning Ballet from the age of 4. From there her family relocated to Parker where she grew up learning Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Pom & Lyrical dance. Her extensive focus was on Poms and Jazz. This gave her the opportunity to dance on her high schools pom team. By age 14 Mery was instructing younger dancers in private lessons, and training students for dance team try-outs and performances. Additionally, she worked at a local dance store and learned the details of all shoe types, shoe fittings, best quality brands, & Apparel. Outside of dancing she was able to broaden her experience working with children while teaching preschool aged children for 4 years as well.  Her love for dance and children never faded as she continued on in her life attending Utah State University pursuing her degree in Fine Arts. Eventually was married and now has two little ones of her own that are just beginning to dance as well. Her love of children has overcome her again and she has returned to help new little ones grow on their journey to love and enjoy dance, and the happiness that it brings to her life.

Janelle Coley

Janelle is a Colorado native and grew up dancing in Littleton at Little Theater Culture Center. She first taught dance at age 14 as a teaching assistant and continued teaching throughout college. In high school Janelle performed and competed on her school’s pom squad in addition to studying ballet, tap and jazz at Little Theater. In college Janelle performed on the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs dance team and later was a dance scholarship recipient at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. At CSU Janelle earned her BA in Performing Arts with a concentration in dance. During her time at CSU she was selected to perform as part of the Colorado State University Dance Company where she loved sharing her passion for dance through performance as well as teaching workshops. Her favorite dance memories from CSU include performing in the classical ballet Les Sylphides, teaching a college level tap class at the university and choreographing and producing her final senior concert. Janelle now lives in Parker with her husband and 4 children and is loving watching her own daughter also fall in love with dance! She is excited to once again share her love of dance through teaching at E&E Dance Company.

Alexis Godfrey

Lexi is a California Native who did most of her extensive training in Huntington Beach, focusing on: jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip – hop, pom and cheer. Growing up she was part of her high school’s cheer team, pom squad and dance team. Lexi had the privilege of being captain for three years of her varsity pom squad, while holding a position on the dance team at the same time. During this time Lexi gained such recognition as MVP and holds several national championship titles for team and solos. In 2011, Lexi became a member of the Boise State Mane Line Dance Team. During her time in Boise, Lexi taught dance classes at a local studio, choreographed competitive competition team routines, choreographed solos, held weekly private’s for dancers and maintained a position as Head Varsity Dance Coach for one of the top dance teams in Idaho. Lexi is now a four-year alumni member from Mane Line and holds a degree in Communication with a minor in American Sign Language. Becoming recently engaged and moving to Parker, Colorado, Lexi is so excited to join the E & E staff and family; her love and passion for dance is never ending and she can’t wait to help the little ones flourish on and off the dance floor.

JoLeigh Hennessy

JoLeigh grew up in Vermont and fell in love with dance at the age of 6. She proceeded to dance classical ballet for the next 12 years and was part of a junior company, The Vermont Contemporary Ballet Company. JoLeigh was also Clara in the Nutcracker with the Albany Berkshire Ballet during this time. At the age of 16, she started to teach beginner to intermediate level dance and share her love of the art with others. Upon graduation, she was offered a dance scholarship to Drexel University where she studied Interior Design and Architecture. JoLeigh continued to dance, perform, and choreograph during her 4 years at Drexel. The mother of two lives in Parker with her husband and her two little girls. Having practiced Interior Design for more than a decade, JoLeigh has decided to focus on the first love of her life and begin to teach dance again!
